I loved the fabulous view from my bridge-view room at Hotel Lungarno. The staff treated me like family and upgraded my room upon arrival. The room had thoughtful amenities for my toddler, like slippers and a special bath set. Breakfast blew me away with an excellent selection and fantastic coffee. The location along the Arno River is unbeatable, just a short walk from the Ponte Vecchio. Despite this, my overall experience was still wonderful, and I would return to this hotel in Florence.

The staff was very helpful and quick to arrange reservations (including same day for Cibreo), tours, and other items.
I just have to get used to how small European hotel rooms are in general. Also, the bathtub/shower could have been a little easier to access.

I booked a room for 3 people, I realized from the reviews that there would be no view of the river. I was ready for it. room is in a high tower. It's comfortable, it's clean. clean venue... There's a special small parking lot near the entrance for the suitcases. Next, car is parked by the staff themselves and returned by them... After the car is checked out, you don't have to pick it up right away, they will give it back when you feel comfortable. At breakfast there are Russian-speaking waiters who explain that it is possible to order a hot menu. Breakfast is delicious and varied. staff is friendly...
It's a pity the TV doesn't connect to your smartphone via smart tv. There are many channels, but it's not interesting to watch them... Right in front of the bed headboard there's a window with only a thin tulle on it. It's got a hallway window across the hall all night. You only notice that when all the room lights are off. It doesn't sound important, but it's been keeping you awake. All the other windows in the room don't let in any light, it's fine.

The atmosphere of calm and unobtrusive service, the attractive decor, the location. The staff were very pleasant and remembered how we liked drinkks, with or without ice, or tea with milk rather than lemon, for example
The only complaint we had was that, due to our room's position on the street side, and the 'tunnel' effect of the building, it was rather noisy late at night and early in the morning. Of course the fact that we were so near the famous Ponte Vecchio compensated for this and friends who were on the river side of the hotel heard no noise.
